ABOUT TROOP 82 and 1082 in Bettendorf, iowa.
Scouts BSA Troop 82 is comprised of both a boys troop (Troop 82), and a girls troop (Troop 1082), but are run concurrently. Together these troops provide enriching opportunities for outdoor adventure, leadership and community service. We believe strongly in equality and welcome scouts and leaders of all backgrounds – gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc, as does scouting across the Illowa council.
We are a youth led troop and pursue a broad range of exciting outdoor activities – camping, whitewater rafting, skiing, hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, and summer camp. We meet on Sundays from 4:00pm– 5:30pm at Asbury Methodist Church, 1809 Mississippi Blvd, Bettendorf, IA 52722.
